Pomegranate over a light tea base, with the fruit left in the blend as visible pieces rather than hidden in the flavouring. The cup pours a clear ruby and tastes tart first, sweet second — pomegranate seed, a squeeze of red berry, and a dry, clean finish that keeps it from being juice. Base, dried fruit and flavouring are all sourced in China. Good hot, better over ice, and it takes a slice of orange happily.
In Chinese this is written 石榴果味茶 and pronounced shí liú guǒ wèi chá.
