Supreme-grade Tie Guanyin from Anxi, the county the tea is named for. Tightly balled leaf opens into a high orchid perfume you can smell across the table, then a thick, almost buttery body carrying lilac and green melon. The finish is long and returns sweet — the hui gan that Anxi growers judge their own tea by. Best in a gaiwan with short, hot infusions; it will give you eight before the aroma thins.
